If you never seen one here is the Google maps car

This is the Google street view machine as seen in Winfield Park, NJ on Sept 26 at 12:40 Pm. The car is a Subaru Impreza Wagon and is registered in California. This is what gives us the nice almost live looking streetview mode 360 degree views of many places on earth. If you have Google Earth installed you can see streetview by dragging the small orange person icon onto the street and it will either show blue outlines of streets which are streetview mapped or you will be taken to ground level view. most populated inner city streets are already on streetview. I'm sure though that in other countries they may not have Subaru cars but the equipment should be close to the same. I did however, years ago seen a website with different kind of equipment on a different vehicle for this purpose so maybe they have upgraded.

These pictures were taken by a friend of mine and she let me post them here. I only combined them into one 13 megapixel image and adjusted the contrast slightly.
