!!! I dont care about pageviews !!!

If you see that i added anything of yours to my favorites you can be sure I did it because I liked it. Lots of people seem to fave everything they see and try to show those people that they like your art. Well, If you fave and then dont reply to comments it is obvious you do it for pageviews. To me those kind of people are losers. I will give you a example. If i see that you are a member for a month and have 5000 faves there is a good chance you are doing it for pageviews.

So.......

PLEASE DO NOT FAVE ANYTHING OF MINE UNLESS YOU LIKE IT. THANKS

I respect everyone here. If you disrespect me I will let you know.

D5000 is a modernized camera but not for me.

Sun Jan 3, 2010, 1:46 AM
As soon as I wake up I'm taking the camera back to the store. I have done 3 weeks of testing and at around 900 shots and 900 Canadian $ I have concluded that this camera is a bit to awkward and weird to use. I miss the dual selector wheels of my (now dead) Nikon D70 for adjusting aperture and shutter quickly. There are a few pluses over my previous camera: I like the night time sensitivity and lower digital noise. I also liked that it does have a movie mode as sometimes a video is needed to be made and this will eliminate me carrying another pocket camera for this purpose. I also liked the live view mode as i was able to tilt the screen while taking pics of the tall CN tower here in Toronto. The negatives: no autofocus support for older non-motorized lenses, uncomfortable to adjust quickly in manual mode, a little slower picture taking response, battery life seemed less than the D70. I'm also not impressed in the sharpness of the shots despite them being 12.2 MP. They are bigger not sharper and I think the lens is to blame on that.

Anyway I have loads of pics to select and upload here and I will do that in the very near future so look for them. I like a lot of the shots so the D5000 wasn't a total flop to use while my D70 remained dead in my camera backpack.

I will save money for something at least as good as the D90 but who knows? maybe by the time I have the money there will be some new model we dont even know about yet available.

P.S.
I'm a little behind on replies to some of your message and pictures so bear with me as i was a bit busy setting up several media center computers for my family here in Canada. One of them discovered how great it is to watch IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) and other streaming video feeds on a large LCD TV so they told my other family members and they wanted the same too. :)
